02/04/2007 - The Posta Services Department celebrated one hundred years of its establishment with a quiz and colouring contest roadshow, whose winners were awarded yesterday.
The prize presentation ceremony was held at the Stamp Gallery at the Bandar Seri Begawan Post Office.
The guest of honour who presentd the prizes was Awg Mohammad Manan bin Haji Lakim, Acting Postmaster General.
Also attending were senior offices and staff under the Postal Services Department and sponsors form Alif Technologies and Juramas Technologies Sdn Bhd.
The colouring competition winners for Belait District were: Dyg Mazliana bin Mazlan, first; Dyg Nur Atiqah bin Haji Abas, second; and Dyg Mona Salinah bin Haji Mejdee, third.
Temburong District winners were: Dyg Norsyahiirah binti Nordin, first; Md Safwan bin Wahaja, second; Awg Mohd Faez Fikry bin Hamidun, third.
Tutong District winners were: Awg Zawawi bin Mahmud, Dyg Henrohayani bte Henry and Nurul Nadilah binti Matdiah.
The 100 years Postal Services Department Quiz contest had 12 winners.
The top five winners: Dk Hjh Norain bte Pg Hj Abd Rahman, Awg Saini bin Muhidin, Ak Haji Iskandar Bahrin bin Pg Hj Abd Rahman, Dyg Harlina binti Ijos and Dyg Noorbaya binti Haji Tahir. Prizes were sponsored by Syarikat Alif Technologies and Juramas Technologies Sdn Bhd. |
