02/08/2007 - The launching of a Commemorative Stamp in conjunction with 100 years of Bubun gan Dua Belas 1907-2007 was held on Monday morning, 23rd July at the Stamp Gallery in the capital.
Present as the Guest of Honour was Yang Mulia Awang Hj Abd Kadir bin Tengah, the Postmaster General. Also present were Yang Mulia Awang Bantong bin Antaran, the Acting Director of Brunei Museums Department, Yang Mulia Dr. Awang Hj Muhammad Hadi bin Muhammad Melayong, Deputy Head of History Centre as well as officers, and staff from the Postal Services Department and Museums Department.
The ceremony began with the recital of surah al-Fatihah and followed by the Guest of Honour officiating the ceremony. It also saw the presentation of first day official envelope to the Postmaster in the capital and to the four districts.
The distinctive designs of the commemorative stamps were created by Yang Mulia Awang Hj Padzil bin Hj Ahmad. The price lists of the stamps are as follows:

First Day Cover without stamps : B$0.45
First Day Cover with Stamps : B$2.55
Miniature Sheet : B$1.90
Stamps : B$0.30, B$0.60 and B$1.00
It concluded with the handing over of a souvenir to the Guest of Honour by the Acting Director of Brunei Museums Department.
