27/10/2007 - Over 100 senior officials, officers and personnel of the Postal Service Department attended a get-together, held in conjunction with Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations, at Asma Hotel, Jerudong 27th October 2007, Saturday.
Present as the guest of honour was Postmaster General Awang haji Abdul Kadir bin Tengah.
The ceremony began with a welcoming speech by the chairman of the get-together, followed by a speech from the guest of honour, during which he said, “We have found that there has been an increase in the delivery services”.
The Postmaster General also said, “I would like to congratulate the Operations Section and the Delivery Unit for their efforts in improving the services. Meanwhile, the contribution by the public in helping us improve our services is very much appreciated.”
He added that one of the main services in the counter, which is a service that requires interaction with the public.
To provide the best service, he said, the department has implemented an up-to-date technology to manage the data.
The get-together concluded with a lucky draw and a singing performance.
