21/11/2007 - Commemorative stamps co-issued by Brunei Darussalam and other Asean member countries to mark the 40th anniversary of Asean were unveiled at the Stamp Gallery of the main post office in the capital, 21st November 2007, Wednesday.
The stamp launching ceremony, which was the first of its kind in the Sultanate, was organised by Brunei Postal Services Department and the administration of postal services of Asean member countries.
According to the chairperson of the ceremony, Awang Hj Abd Kadir bin Tengah, the launching of the commemorative stamps to mark service.
In line with its mission and vision for high quality, fast, reliable and secure services, the department supports the joint effort, from strategising marketing activities to realising business objectives.

--- Za'im Zaini ½ ø J¯&Hari Raya Greeting Cards On Sale Today‹The Postal Services Department has urged the public to send their Hari Raya greeting cards as early as possible to avoid delays in delivery. The department also said that they will launch the greeting cards on September 10 at the counter of the General Post Office in the capital, 10th October 2007, Wednesday. The ceremony was officiated by Hj Abd Kadir Bin Tengah, Postmaster General.
The sale of Hari Raya greeting cards will continue for a month. Three attractive card packages are offered. A Hari Raya greeting card with envelope costs from 60 cents to $1.50 each while an order of more than 30 Hari Raya greeting cards, along with inserts, will cost 50 cents per card.
For an order of more than 100 cards, each card will cost 25 cents. There is also a package of five cards available, costing between $2 to $6. Apacket of 10 costs from $4.50 to $15. These are sold at MPC and the General Post Office in the capital. The Hari Raya greeting cards with envelopes are sold at other branches.
Syarikat Azam Teknik has been appointed by the Postal Services Department to sell the cards this year.
